Mabel │ Outer Banks Senior Portraits

I cannot believe my baby sister is graduating high school in just 4 weeks! Such a bittersweet session for me!

I’ll never forget her arrival. Her mom went into labor the morning I left for summer camp! I got a box of brownies and baby photos in the mail and had to wait two whole weeks to meet her! With such a large age gap between her and I, she’s always been my little mini me. From the moment I could drive that kid went everywhere with me. Being the baby of the family with an almost 15 year age gap, she’s essentially an only child and the center of the universe…but we wouldn’t have it any other way! She’s grown to be such a kind, thoughtful, and easy going young woman – and I know she’s going to do great things! She shares my love of horses, monograms, and Lilly Pulitzer….because what is more important in life? Ha!

We kicked off the first half of her session at my favorite spot in South Nags Head….

It took a couple of months, but we finally managed to get a day we were both free to do the second half of her session. Six years of cheer came to an end this year, and we wanted to get in some photos with her uniform before they had to be turned in. We pushed it to the very last possible second, and even though we had an overcast and chilly day we got it done!

  1. Holy amazing! I almost have no words for this session. How awesome for your sister that she has a family member with such talent to capture her senior portraits. High school seniors in Outer Banks are lucky to have you as their photographer.
