Adriana & Ben’s Hemingway House Wedding {Outer Banks Wedding Photographer}

I speak from experience when I say, there is nothing easy about waking up to rain on your wedding day. A true test of grace is when you can take whatever life throws your way and run with it….and that’s exactly what Adriana and Ben did! With impending bad weather in the forecast, we discussed their “Plan B” in the event things didn’t clear up. Adriana was so calm and confident that despite the weather, everything would be great. That’s one of the things I love about her! As I arrived at the house, everyone was calm and relaxed – which is the BEST way to be on your wedding day.

Adriana & Ben were married, surrounded by their closest family and friends, in the gorgeous 4×4 area of Carova at the Hemingway House. This is one awesome group, because they really powered through the weather as we headed outside to attempt some portraits. In between laughs, raindrops, and a whole lot of wind…..I’m so glad we were able to capture these memories! I think Adirana’s dad gave one of the best “Father of the Bride” toasts ever, and he could win the award for the first time I’ve heard Johnny Cash referenced during a toast!
