It’s always an honor when a bride trusts me to capture the most important day of their life. It’s an even bigger honor, although sometimes nerve-wracking, when a fellow photographer asks you to photograph their wedding. Madeline is the other half of a sister photography team, Sarah D’Ambra Photography. With so many amazingly talented photographers on the OBX, being the one to capture their magical wedding day was humbling. I honestly could not have hand-picked a more gorgeous venue than the Vineyards on the Scuppernong. The entire property was the kind of place photographer’s dream of getting to photograph.
Madeline & Jeff had a little bit of an unconventional start to their relationship, but the love these two have for each other shows. They celebrated their love among family, friends, and their precious baby girl on one of the most gorgeous days this year! They opted for a “First Look”, which was the best decision of the day, because we were also able to do all their family formals and wedding party photos prior to the ceremony. They had one of the most heartfelt and meaningful ceremonies, both choosing to write their own vows. Thank you so much for having me there to tell your love story!
