Megan’s Outer Banks Senior Beach Portraits has to be one of my favorite senior sessions! We had the most gorgeous evening at the beach, almost the whole place to ourselves! Perfect temps, perfect light, and practically no wind! I love getting to work with seniors on their OBX Vacation, helping them to create unique senior portraits unlike any of their friends back home!
Megan made the perfect choice when it came to planning her outfits! I typically suggest seniors choose 2-3 outfits for their OBX Senior Portrait Session. This gives enough variety, and especially with the ladies, opting for at least one pants/shorts outfit if you also plan to do a dress. We never know what kind of weather we’ll get here on the OBX, and some poses and situations are just a little easier when not in pants. Megan started off with the most adorable white romper – a perfect choice for beach portraits – and awesome for photos down by the water where it’s usually a little breezy. Opting to incorporate a casual outfit into the mix we had the most gorgeous golden light after she put on her jeans and sweater. Megan opted for loose beach waves for her hair, and I just loved the overall vibe with her outfit choices. We managed just a touch of light left for her to put on a gorgeous skirt and top for the last outfit of the day. We were able to use the boardwalk before of sun finally went down!
